The film explores the multiracial baby boom thorough the eyes of filmmaker and father to third generation mixed raced children, Eli Steele. The film opens when Steele's son, Jack is denied enrollment to elementary school for refusing to check a "race box." Why does race matter so much? To find out, Steele takes an uncharted journey across America where he confronts and exposes identity politics and tendency to "lock" individuals into racial groups. The film asks the question: Is it too late to begin a movement back to the individual? Refreshments provided. Documentary 84 mins. NR
