Friends of the Olathe Public Library Novel Tea

 This year’s Novel Tea will feature author and former Olathe resident, Traci Sorell. Sorell, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, will speak about her new children's book, We Are Grateful, which follows a contemporary Cherokee family through the seasons of the year and the corresponding ceremonies and festivals in which they participate. Enjoy tea and finger foods, live music, creative table settings by local businesses and organizations, giveaways and more. Fancy hats encouraged! Tea is held at the Indian Creek Community Church (12480 S. Black Bob Rd.) in Olathe.

$20 tickets available for purchase beginning Saturday, March 9 at the Indian Creek Library (13511. S. Mur-Len Rd. Ste. 129). Cash or check accepted. Limit 2 tickets per person. Proceeds benefit the Curtis Gilmore Memorial Scholarship.
