Although your physical library may not be accessible right now, your passion to be there for your community most certainly is! Librarians, like you, are thinking creatively and working to support your patrons' needs during these challenging days. It's this kind of dedication and problem-solving that will help you inspire a new summer experience for your patrons to discover!
Join Robin Hargrave, SCKLS youth and school services consultant, for a live webinar to visit about how to adapt your in-library, in-person services and events to meet current day safety requirements. Discuss how to demonstrate library care for your community, for your hard-working staff and for yourself. Learn and share ideas about how to transition your programming to online forums. Consider ways to make your services present in the community.
In this focused session, you will:
- Discover one easy idea in which you can encourage patrons and members of the community to engage with your library.
- Learn your local health department contact information and its role in determining safety.
- Increase your awareness of basic needs for the mental and physical health of your users.
Let SCKLS help you explore creative opportunities and pursue your library's mission in new ways--it's a new summer at your library.
