Event Schedule:

9:00 - 9:30 Registration and morning refreshments

9:30 11:30 Morning presentation by keynote speaker Kim Lehman on "Libraries Rock" program theme. Lehman is a nationally-recognized Summer Reading Program (SRP) presenter, musician, puppeteer and educator who resides in Austin, Texas.

11:30 - 1:00 During the lunch hour, participants will brainstorm and discuss Summer Reading Program topics. SCKLS will provide a complimentary lunch for interested participants.

1:00 2:00 Afternoon presentation by keynote speaker Kim Lehman.

2:00 - 2:15 Break

2:00 3:00 Choose to attend one of the following Breakout Sessions: (A) Connecting Teen Literature with Music, Robyn Bravi, SCKLS, (B) Adult SRP Programming in Small Libraries, Jean Thiessen, Director, Whitewater Memorial Library or (C) Adult SRP Programming in Large Libraries, Daniel Eels, Adults Services Provider, Newton Public Library.

Registration deadline is on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. CE Credits: 6 hours

This session is limited to 100 participants. Morning refreshments and buffet lunch will be offered free-of-charge.
