Tech Talks: Numbers Tell Your Story - Repackaging Reports

Event Type: Continuing Education
Date: 11/9/2017
Start Time: 9:00 AM
End Time: 4:00 PM
Description:
Are you drowning in data but missing meaning? You have lots of numbers- circulation statistics, computer usage tallies, and you think Excel is on your computer, but what do you do with all of it? This class will show you how to use technology to transform your data into meaningful information that shows the impact of your library. Learn how to display numbers in a robust and compelling style in order to connect organizations, boards, and communities to your library’s story. Practice using Microsoft Excel and Word as well as Infographic software to create dynamic reports that express your library’s value.

There will be a two hour break for lunch, 11:30am to 1:30pm, during which participants may leave and eat lunch, or bring their own lunch and eat in the SCKLS large meeting room.

Location: Entire SCKLS Building
Registration Ends: 11/2/2017 at 5:00 PM
